ABOUT SHAWNA
Shawna oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.
Shawna has over 15 years of experience as a Claims Attorney and claims analyst working for several high-profile insurance carriers.
Prior to joining TransEleven, Shawna worked as an attorney for Advocacy in Action, handling employment and labor law cases. As a Claims Attorney, she has handled a wide variety of complex cases involving employment practices liability, government and public officials liability, as well as D&O liability, managing all aspects of litigation such as hearings, motions, conferences, development of case strategies, mediations, trial preparation and negotiating settlement agreements.
Shawna has also worked as an LCS Charges Counsel and has several years of experience as a Litigation Associate managing employment law, general business litigation and insurance coverage cases. She has additional experience in insurance coverage, including analyzing EPL claims for coverage under state and federal laws.

EDUCATION and BAR ADMISSIONS
Shawna received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) and is a member of the State Bar of Connecticut.
