Alexis oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel negotiations, mediations and reporting.  She is a skilled attorney with over 15 years of experience in litigation and insurance defense.

Prior to joining TransEleven, Alexis was partner in a highly regarded national firm with 750+ attorneys representing Fortune 500 companies and governments, working out of their West Virginia offices.  As a partner and trial attorney in the litigation department and torts practice group, her practice emphasis was in general liability defense, which included first chair experience in multiple trials, as well as directing other attorneys on all stages of litigation strategy in both complex and simple matters.

During her legal career, Alexis has served as lead and first chair trial counsel, with significant experience in premises liability, products liability, transportation liability, employment liability, commercial liability, professional liability, insurance defense and coverage in multiple industries.

She also has served as primary counsel to national retail, hospitality, insurance, transportation and manufacturing companies, working closely with in-house counsel and claims administration departments.  Alexis has also served as a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.
