Brian oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and

claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.

Before joining TransEleven, Brian was a Senior Associate Attorney at SMBG, a highly respected business litigation firm specializing in insurance, products liability and construction law.  As a Senior Associate, he handled cases in multiple practice areas including professional liability, insurance defense, insurance coverage, personal injury, employment discrimination and construction defects, executing all aspects of litigation and settlement negotiations.  He was also lead counsel for all EEOC charges, which included mediations and managing related litigation.

Brian has also served as an insurance defense attorney representing municipalities, transit authorities and contractors in matters concerning employment, personal injury, worker’s compensation and construction defect claims.

Brian received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law, Stamford University and is a member of the State Bar of Alabama.
