As Director, Healthcare Claims he is responsible for Allied Health, Medical and LTC practice areas, which includes supervision of certain attorneys.

Dean oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel negotiations, mediations and reporting.  Dean has a very diverse background in claims administration and insurance litigation.

Prior to joining TransEleven, he practiced law with one of Dallas’ oldest insurance defense firms, handling a wide variety of matters including auto accidents, premises
liability, property damage, construction defects, insurance fraud, debt collections and toxic torts.  Dean has also worked as Senior Claims Counsel for Professional Claims Managers (PCM) where he handled healthcare liability and long-term care claims, as well as coverage analysis.

Dean has also managed Excess Casualty Claims for Hallmark Finance Services, Inc. and has several years of experience in private, general civil practice.
