James oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and

claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.  With over 30 years of experience as

an attorney, James is a seasoned litigator and former law partner with a highly regarded insurance defense firm and has tried many cases to jury verdicts.

Prior to joining TransEleven, James was Senior Claims Counsel with

Professional Claims Managers, where for more than a decade he managed

nursing home, medical malpractice and professional liability claims for underwriters in London.  He is also a former trial attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. 

James currently oversees the TransEleven file audit and peer review program required by underwriters in the London Market.
