ABOUT KATHLEEN

Kathleen oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.

Kathleen is a highly skilled attorney with over 10 years of experience in insurance defense, claims administration and insurance coverage.

Prior to joining TransEleven, Kathleen was an Associate Attorney with a highly regarded insurance defense firm in Florida where for over 5 years, she managed a high volume of litigated and pre-suit cases involving first-party property breach of contract, automobile negligence and premises liability.  Kathleen executed responses and resolutions, handled depositions and hearings, argued pre-trial motions and attended trials.

Kathleen has worked for several insurance groups and has extensive experience as a Claims Examiner determining coverage and liability for commercial general liability claims.  She was also a Claims Professional for Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies determining coverage and compensability for medical and indemnity claims, as well as managing claims through to resolution, including the negotiation of settlements.
