Megan oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.

Prior to joining TransEleven, Megan was a Senior Associate with Lydecker,

an AV-rated, national commercial litigation and insurance defense firm with

over 150 attorneys, serving insurers, businesses, government entities and

self-insured organizations.  As Senior Associate working in their Florida offices, she handled a wide variety of personal injury and premises liability claims,

where, as co-counsel on their civil litigation team, she was successful in achieving results for clients, including favorable summary judgements.

She is highly skilled at conducting mediations, depositions and discovery, drafting motions, case evaluations, negotiating settlement agreements and working with insurance carriers to develop and execute effective case strategies.  Megan has also served as an Associate Attorney handling insurance defense matters including bodily injury and premises liability claims.
 

Megan has additional expertise in legal research, summary analysis and reporting.  As a Law Clerk, she was responsible for detailed analysis of complex medical records, contributing to overall defense strategies in numerous cases.

She has also worked as a Legal Assistant in the Office Of The Public Defender

for the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
