ABOUT SUSAN

As Vice President, Susan assists with complex insurance coverage matters, special projects and management of certain PL/GL client programs.

Susan oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.

Susan has over 25 years of experience as an attorney specializing in insurance litigation and insurance coverage, working as a Senior Claims Counsel where she has handled claims administration, litigation management and coverage analysis in a wide range of PL/GL practice areas, toxic torts, personal lines (auto, property, extra contractual), complex commercial lines, medical malpractice, healthcare and construction defects.
 

Prior to joining TransEleven, she was the Technical Director of Claims Coverage

& Litigation Management (E&S/Specialty) for Nationwide and Senior Litigation Analyst and Claims Counsel for Hallmark Financial Services.  Susan has extensive experience working for third-party claims administrators and global insurance carriers such as WLI/Gallagher Bassett and AIG. 

For nearly a decade, Susan was Senior Litigation Counsel and In-House Coverage Counsel for a captive firm on behalf of CNA Insurance.  Early in
her career, Susan worked as an Associate Attorney for several law firms handling insurance defense and general business litigation matters.
