ABOUT TREY

Trey oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations and reporting.

Trey has nearly a decade of experience as a litigation and trial attorney specializing in insurance defense with a focus on auto, personal injury and commercial liability cases.
 

​Prior to joining TransEleven, Trey worked as Claims Litigation Counsel for State Farm, where he personally handled a high volume litigation docket including investigating allegations of fraud, misconduct and compliance violations.  In addition to trying cases, he managed the office caseload and distribution of files to new attorneys, leading monthly attorney meetings and developing strategies to address complex legal issues.

Trey has also worked as Trial Counsel for Allstate Insurance where he tried over 30 auto and commercial liability cases to jury verdict.  As a result, he received Allstate's Distinguished Performer Award in 2019.  Trey also holds the designation of CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter).

Trey has additional litigation experience, serving for five years as Assistant District Attorney for the Midland County District Attorney’s Office handling complex felony level cases.
