ABOUT VANESSA
Vanessa oversees claims administration and litigation from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including management of outside counsel negotiations, mediations and reporting. She is a skilled attorney with extensive experience handling medical malpractice, allied health and healthcare liability litigation and claims.
Prior to joining TransEleven, Vanessa served as Claims Consultant for the P&S West Division of MedPro, the nation’s leading healthcare liability insurance carrier. During her tenure at MedPro she managed claims and cases for physicians, clinics and hospitals in 12 states.
Vanessa has also served as both a Partner and Managing Partner for one of Oklahoma’s most highly regarded professional liability defense firms representing healthcare providers, physicians and dentists. As Partner she was responsible for the training and development of associate attorneys and staff representing healthcare clients. As Managing Partner she was responsible for the management of the Denver office overseeing all medical malpractice cases in Colorado.
She also has specialized experience handling mass torte cases involving healthcare professionals being accused of Medicaid fraud.
